Product Manager—Publishers

Are you interested in building products that can change the way consumers and publishers discover information on the internet? Do you have a passion for web applications and the rising tide of mobile? Reverb’s Product Team is seeking the best and the brightest to build a host of delightful new products! The Product Team is responsible for the full life cycle of product delivery, from definition to launch.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the company-wide publisher and content strategies translating them into concrete product objectives
  • Lead and represent your product, building buy-in across the organization
  • Drive the full product development cycle in collaboration with Design, Engineering, User Support, and other Product teams
  • Be a driving force in assembling the resources necessary to ship innovative products
  • Bring a detailed eye for user experience and design to ensure features drive high adoption and customer delight
  • Define methods for quantifying success (or failure) and ensure that your team has a clear ability to understand and articulate its objectives

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (MS is a plus)
  • MBA preferable but not required
  • Ability to plan and drive execution of go-to-market strategies and grow a product from concept to success including understanding SCRUM and agile methodologies
  • Proven leadership track record
  • 6. Minimum of three (ideally more than five) years product management experience with publisher-facing Internet products and technologies
  • Built or managed the development of an iOS, Android, or HTML5 mobile app (desired, but not required)
  • History of building and leading teams of product managers through fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
  • Clear understanding of Reverb's product and a passion for taking it to the next level
  • Experience and interest in designing simple and functional user interfaces
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
